First thing I thought when I came across this c1965 Willys Jeep was “Park it like you mean it!” No plates or reg sticker tell me it’s probably not going anywhere for awhile, so I really like the way it’s sitting out front of an East Aurora repair shop, looking like it’s raring to go. Willys (pronounced “WILL-is”, the name stamped on the tailgate, was the maker of Jeeps going back to WWII; in 1960 it became the Kaiser Jeep Corporation (yes, the same Kaiser as in aluminum foil), which was sold to American Motors in 1970. AMC, in turn, was bought by Chrysler in 1987, and they still own Jeep under the new Fiat Chrysler corporate name.
