It might be just my opinion (hey, this is my page!), but I think this 1987 BMW 325 iS is from the last Golden Age of the Bavarian automaker’s history. The cars were still rather compact with taut styling and no gimmicks (and there were no SUVs or crossovers in the lineup, either). Years ago they came up with the advertising slogan The Ultimate Driving Machine — impressing the neighbors wasn’t high on the list of what BMW was trying to accomplish. Yes, they still make some great cars, but I’ll take an old 2002 from the early 1970s any day. Or, this dark blue 325, seen recently in Niagara Falls.
