Ah, the 1970s van craze. Most of us either had one or wished we did (I was one of the haves). This Ford Econoline 300 SuperVan (c1973) was spotted at a recent Cruising the Q Tuesday night car show on Queen Street in Niagara Falls, Ontario. You can tell its vintage as the sliding side door wasn’t available until the 1972 models, and the 1974s were the final year for this body style. The 300 had the longer 123.5-in wheelbase and an 8300-lb GVW — which meant you could tote over two tons — up to 4,285 lbs. The 1969 Mustang/Torino GT rims are a nice touch.
