BECAUSE IT’S ALWAYS JEEP WEATHER IN WNY …

BECAUSE IT’S ALWAYS JEEP WEATHER IN WNY … by Jim Corbran, Automotive Columnist Hard to believe, but this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Jeep brand. Born out necessity during the early years of World War II, Jeep marches on today as one of Fiat Chrysler’s most successful nameplates. In honor of that milestone Jeep is offering a full lineup of special edition models: Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Grand Cherokee Cherokee Renegade Compass Patriot All are being offered in numerous colors (my favorites perhaps being the Wrangler’s Sarge Green and the Renegade’s Anvil.) Each line will come with special rims, some with exclusive seating trim, and depending on model, a number of comfort and convenience items such as heated seats, remote start, and upgraded NAV/audio systems. The Wranglers also feature a number of off-road goodies. The price range will accommodate many budgets, starting with the $22,475 Patriot on up to the $38,375 Wrangler Unlimited which in my book wears the 75th Anniversary gear the best. I guess to me it’s still the Jeepest Jeep. (Well, at least in the two-door version.) More info?
