COMING NEXT: THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION by Jim Corbran, Automotive Columnist At the recently completed Chicago Auto Show, Honda released a sketch of its upcoming 2016 Ridgeline pickup. I find it amusing to see the number of professional-looking renderings which show up on the internet predicting what any final new model will look like. The official sketch is included here for your perusal. Do a Google search for “2016 Honda Ridgeline pickup” and see what the seers foresee. While I was there I clicked on one link (I won’t add it here to save them the embarrassment) of a blogger who in very broken English went on to describe just what the Honda Ridgeline pickup is all about. Here’s a small sampling: "2016 Honda Ridgeline will be an alternative for people choice. American people are always love drunk to pick up compact.” “The space seems fully, but the storage area is under the pickup.” And my favorite line, one which I’m sure Honda marketers will be using in the Ridgeline ad campaign: “The Ridgeline SE is never cheap.
