Yes, it’s a through-the-windshield shot of a 1973 Pontiac Grand Am. And no, I didn’t snap this pic while driving; it came about thanks to the quick reflexes of my riding shotgun-son Andy just before this light turned green one recent afternoon in the Village of Lancaster. The Grand Am, you may remember, was produced to help compete with European sport sedans. It was probably more successful in that regard in four-door guise — a version which I wouldn’t mind having in my own driveway!
