Big convertibles were soon to become a thing of the past — well, temporarily anyway, when this 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale left the showroom. This one just escaped the federal five-mph bumper regulations which went into effect the following model year, making it one of the better-looking cars of the decade. Found this one a while ago in South Buffalo, where it was also one of the better-looking cars we ran into that day — new or old!
