NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ontario – Let’s be honest here, you almost have to travel north of the border to ever come across a 1957 Austin A95 Westminster Saloon. Built in Great Britain by BMC (British Motor Corporation), the A95 was in production from 1956-59. Also available as an estate version (the Countryman, seen below), the A95 Westminster was considered a large car in the home market, but in some parts of the Commonwealth it was just another compact import. For comparison sake it was about a foot shorter than the smallest North American sedan, the Nash Rambler, with a wheelbase about three inches shorter. We saw the A95 at the 2018 Kinsmen Show and Shine car show.
