DEL MAR, California – We really had to dig into the archives for this one. Today’s RealRide is a 1940 Ford pickup, seen back in April of 1975 in a car show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego County. This was actually a slide I’d taken with my old Yashica 35mm camera. Some years ago I bought a cheap slide scanner which was crap, so I rigged a system with some binder clips which was set in front of a plain white computer monitor and photographed with my Samsung Galaxy smart phone. I’d say it turned out pretty well, all things considered. Check out the set-up below…
