WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – For many of us, this 1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero would be all the pickup truck we’d ever have needed. With an 800-lb. carrying capacity in its (approximately) 72 x 43-inch bed, the Ranchero was perfect for many weekend warrior projects while affording a non-clunky ride to and from the vigors of a normal workweek. This was the fourth and final year for the first-generation Falcon, which would get a total makeover for MY 1964 (and eventually, a competitor by the name of Mustang sharing the showroom). We saw this one at this past year’s final Cars and Coffee in the Eastern Hills Mall parking lot.
