NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – According to one brochure, the 1951 Chevrolet 3100 was “…one of the most versatile trucks in the entire Chevrolet line.” Its large load space and hardwood flooring provided carrying space for this “all-purpose vehicle [which was] of use to almost any business.” A couple of the standard features which Chevy deemed important enough to single out were the “ventipanes” and a “front bumper [which] provides protection for chassis and front end sheet metal.” We came across this one while at a movie shoot in the parking lot of a vintage-looking motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
