ELMA, N.Y. – Before you ask, no, there’s no photo of this 1963 Buick Wildcat from the rear. As you can see below, the 1959 Catalina parked behind it at the 2020 car show at St. Gabriel’s was parked right on its tail. Same owner maybe; I hope so, anyway, Lol. For model year 1963 the Wildcat came in three body styles: two- and four-door hardtops and this convertible. In one ad, Buick told us about the Wildcat’s temperament: “Terribly impatient in captivity. Thrives best when out on the open road (tracks straight as an arrow, corners like a cat).” They didn’t mention how it felt with another car right on its a**. Meow.
