
AKRON, N.Y. – Two things about this 1953 Willys Jeep Universal: in the top photo it’s posed just like the one in the brochure illustration below; and second, that same brochure, in a list touting the Universal’s versatility, mentioned plowing. No, not snow plowing, but agricultural plowing. Honestly, I never would have considered a Jeep for plowing the fields. I wonder how many farmers took them up on it? We saw this one back at a 2019 weekly cruise night in the village.
