PEMBROKE, N.Y. – Seeing this 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air took me back a f-e-w-w years. Unlike a lot of ’63 Chevys you see these days, this one looks like it’s been frozen in time. No fender skirts, bumper guards, aftermarket wheels, transplanted 409… just a set of whitewalls and a fender aerial indicating what’s probably a simple AM radio. Kudos to the owner for preserving this old family chariot! Chevy called the ’63 Bel Air “A wise investment that looks like you splurged.” Not quite an Impala splurge, but a step up from the neighbor’s Biscayne or Ford 300.
