KENMORE, N.Y. – What’s not to like about a green car with red seats? Especially when it comes from the factory that way. (A green car on St. Patrick's Day? Purely coincidental!) Try and find this color combination on today’s new car lots… good luck even finding a green car, or red seats for that matter. I’m guessing this 1940 Ford Deluxe is showing in Acadia Green; trying to nail down the interior color though isn’t easy. There are a few cars on the internet showing this same interior, but all of the literature I found for 1940 seems to be conflicting. Some say all interiors were “Sand,” while others mention only “Saddle Brown.” A restored car on Mecum with a similar interior lists the color as maroon. Maybe somebody reading this can clear things up. We saw today’s RealRide at the 2021 Cruise Into Kenmore Super Cruise.
