EDEN, N.Y. – Came upon this fresh-looking 1987 Dodge Ram 100 at last summer’s Father’s Day Car Show at Dairy Queen (it was actually in the overflow lot up the road at the school). Owned by Silver Creek’s Tom Hartung (you may have seen his name on a real estate sign or two), this one was sporting an old sticker on the back from DeHaven’s Dodge City, a now-defunct dealership which was located on East Main Street in Westfield. A magazine ad from back in the day touted the Ram 100, with its suggested MSRP of $7,653, as being “America’s best full-sized pickup value,” comparing it in the ad to a Ford F-150 ($9,509) and a Chevy R-10 ($8,503).
