
DUNKIRK, N.Y. – This one-of-a-kind Studebaker Speedster II was seen back in 2016 at the annual Studebaker Swap Meet. It started life as a 1953 Commander Starline Regal hardtop, but as you can see… things happened! When bought by owners Victor and Connie Oliver of Syracuse, the top had already been cut off, the rear quarter panels had been removed, and the wheelbase had been shortened by 15 inches. After sitting in their garage like that for two years, it was an eight month journey to arrive at what you see here. We did a longer write-up of this car online back when we first saw it.
