OSHAWA, Ontario – This one’s from the Go Big Or Stay Home school of mobile advertising. Seen outside of the White Feather Country Store just north of the city, this 1978 Ford Custom pickup is probably not the most aerodynamic ride on the road, but it’s certainly one of the most eye-catching. The Custom was Ford's base model pickup, and was the only model for 1978 which still had round sealed-beam headlights. You can see one below from a brochure illustration without the chicken regalia, and also a more upscale model with the more trendy rectangular lamps.
