NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – This Lime Gold 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby G.T. 350 was seen five years ago at a summer car show at the Niagara Falls City Market. After we’d chosen this car a couple of weeks back to be featured here today, we came across it that same night at this season’s first Monday cruise night at the Wurlitzler Building in North Tonawanda. There were two different Shelby Mustangs for 1967: this G.T. 350, which came with Ford’s high-performance Cobra 289cid V8; and the beefier G.T. 500 which had a 428 under the hood. The Shelby Mustangs were sold only at select Ford dealers. Below is an ad from back in the day.
