WARSAW, N.Y. – This 1953 Ford Crestline is sporting a few readily noticeable extras from Ford’s 1953 Accessories Guide (you can view the entire guide here). We spotted these: a radio antenna (which we’re assuming means there’s a radio in the dash); wheel discs (aka full wheelcovers) — they’re not the ones in the ’53 catalog, but are actually from the 1954 model year; rear fender shields (aka fender skirts); rear deck guard; outside visor (over the windshield); and body-mount rear-view mirror. I always wonder when I see these cars how many of these things were added on back in the day, and how many are more recent finds. Today’s RealRide was seen at last summer’s Wyoming Valley Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet.
