WHEATFIELD, N.Y. – What with the white paint job, the white bumpers, the bit of snow on the ground, and the black tires & wheels along with a blacked-out grille, I guess we could have presented this 1968 Pontiac Catalina as a black & white photo and not sacrificed much. We saw it a few months ago (although, around here snow is not necessarily an indicator that it’s winter!) in a local parking lot. This was the first year for the federally mandated side marker lights, and Pontiac got fancy with emblem-shaped units in the back, while the fronts were extensions of the parking/turn signal lenses which wrapped around the side.
