NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – If you’re the type who likes big, heavy American luxury cars, they’re still available out there if you look hard enough. We passed this 1976 Buick Electra Limited last summer, parked behind a local garage which also sells the occasional used car or two. The Limited was the big Buick’s mid-line car for 1976. It sat between the “base” (if you will) Electra 225, and the Electra Park Avenue, which essentially was an option package whose interior included “Lombardy velour with Doeskin vinyl interior trim” (along with other upgrades), “an Oxen-grain halo vinyl top,” and the expected Park Ave badging.
