
After I stopped to photograph this 1967 Ford F-350 Flareside in the parking lot of the Gratwick Hose Co. in North Tonawanda I started noticing that every time I passed by it was parked in a different spot. One day the bed was even full of what looked like yard debris. It’s great to see a 55-year-old pickup truck still being used… as a pickup truck! For model year 1967 the F-350 rode on a 135-inch wheelbase and had a nine-foot bed. You could also get the F-350 in the sleeker Styleside body, which Ford described as “…smooth styling with body side panels extended to hug the contour of rear cab corners.” North of the border you could also buy these trucks badged as a Mercury (below).
