Day 4 of “Yeah, it needs a little work…”
Unless this car is from north of the border, it’s a1965 Plymouth Fury III (or possibly a Sport Fury, hard to tell with the missing trim bits). In Canada, Plymouth offered a two-door hardtop Fury II in lieu of the pillared two-door sedan which was available in the U.S. lineup (the U.S. Fury II lineup consisted of a two- and four-door sedan and two- and three-seat station wagons). The only two-door sedan in Canada was marketed as a Savoy, which also came in four-door sedan and station wagon body styles. So, to sum up, in the U.S. the model names were Fury I, II, and III as well as Sport Fury, while in Canada you had Savoy, Fury II and III, and Sport Fury – both ranges listed from least to most expensive respectively. We found today’s RealRide some years ago in Tonawanda.
