This 1967 Chrysler New Yorker is just one of the many big ’66-’67 NYers, Newports, and 300s I seem to have come across in the past two or three years. Where have you guys been hiding all of this time? Lol… Maybe the astronomical prices of some old Dodges and Plymouths these days has sent the classic car buyer into a different direction. The New Yorker was, in Chrysler’s words, “The most luxurious Chrysler we build.” And inside, just to make sure you could really see all of that luxurious stuff, there were “16 different convenience lights,” which ranged from the instrument panel to the “paneled interior,” and the “compartmentalized glove box” to the carpeted trunk. We saw this one, in broad daylight, at this year’s Canal Fest of the Tonawandas Car Show on the City of Tonawanda side of the Erie Canal.
