RealRides of WNY #2318 - 1967 Mini

The local Mini dealer’s showroom seems as good a place as any to park your 1967 Morris Mini when it’s not seeing any action. There were myriad versions of the little two-door car which was introduced in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) back in the days before BMW resurrected the nameplate for model year 2000. They were marketed with several nameplates including Austin, Rover, Innocenti, Leyland, Morris, Riley, and Wolseley. And like today, there were eventually different body styles like the Traveller (station wagon), Van (basically the station wagon with the rear quarter windows blanked-out), and the pickup (all seen below in brochure illustrations). Today’s RealRide was spotted earlier this year at Towne Mini in Williamsville.
