This 1964 Studebaker Commander Wagonaire is still on the road, one of (more than) a few old Studes owned by Howard Newberry of Smith Mills. You may notice that there are only two headlights on today’s RealRide, while you may have seen other ’64 Wagonaires with four. The dual setup was standard on both the base Challenger and the mid-level Commander, while quad lamps were standard on the high-line Daytona and optional on the other two. If you were interested, you could also order your Wagonaire without the slide-open steel roof, which came standard on all three lines. I don’t think I’ve ever come across one set up this way in real life.
