This 1975 Chevrolet Malibu coupe occupied the bottom rung of Chevy’s midsize ladder. For a few extra bucks ($289 for the V8 model) you could have moved up to the Malibu Classic. Even fancier was the Malibu Classic Landau, while sportier types could opt for the Laguna Type S-3. A year later Chevy would begin phasing out the round headlamps on the Malibu, with the Classic model lineup getting stacked quad rectangular lenses. We saw this one over the summer in a Tonawanda parking lot.
