Yesterday’s Chevy Citation RealRide was a rare find because most of the over 800,000 of them produced that year seem to have vanished off the face of the earth. Today’s RealRide, a c1977 Mercury Bobcat Villager, is not only rare now, but was also pretty rare back in 1977, when Mercury produced only around 31,000 Bobcat wagons (we couldn’t find a breakdown on how many of them were the woodgrained Villager). We saw this one last October at the annual Peak’N Peak Fall Car Show in Clymer. (We also saw it there this year.)
