RealRides of WNY #2423 ......................... 1936 Ford

When I came across this 1936 Ford five-window coupe, I couldn’t help but wonder if that paint job was a factory color. My usual internet paint source (autocolorlibrary.com) lists an Armory Green which looks a lot like today’s RealRide. For model year 1936, Ford also offered a three-window, three-passenger coupe. Their description of the five-window points out how the rear window lowers for added ventilation (you can see in the photo that the front windscreen tilts out). A rumble seat was optional, but seeing that we don’t see one opened on this car, I’m assuming it doesn’t have one. But you know what they say about assuming, lol. We came across this green beauty a year ago at the 2021 Main Street Cruise in the Village of Angola.
