
This 1976 AMC Hornet hatchback was seen at this past summer’s Island Park Car Show in Wellsville, not a body style I see very often these days. Come to think of it, Hornets in general seem to be a rare breed anymore. AMC offered the Hornet in a basic series like this one, which could be upgraded via option packages to either a Hornet X (hatchback or Sportabout wagon), or a Hornet D/L (Sportabout or two- or four-sedan). This one appears to be wearing an Aztec Copper paint job (as well as a For Sale sign).
