It can be extremely difficult to pinpoint the model year of most of these things, but we’re guessing that this Volkswagen Vanagon hails from 1984 or so, judging from the round headlights and the two-piece front grille. Vanagons of this period often had very unusual factory paint schemes (bottom photo), and today’s example, seen a couple of summers ago in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is no exception.
