This 1966 Plymouth Barracuda was seen earlier this year by RealRides staff member (and daughter) Katie in Seattle, Washington. She didn’t happen to mention if these stylish-looking ladies had a set of keys or were trying to break in, Lol. The ’66 was a minor, one-year-only facelift of the ’64-’65 model — a mere placeholder until the all-new 1967 models came along (in three different body styles, yet!). The ’66 models came standard with either a 225CID Slant Six or a 180-hp 273CID V-8; a 235-hp version of the 273 was optional. Plymouth sold over 38,000 Barracudas for model year 1966; Ford sold over 600,000 1966 Mustangs. Yikes!
