This 1949 Chevrolet DeLuxe is from the stable of WNY’s Joseph Galvin, whose dozen or so cars are all registered and insured so as to see regular street duty during our more agreeable weather months. This one looks like someone had a good time thumbing through (and making notations in) the Genuine Chevrolet Accessories catalog. From here we can see: chrome-plated trunk guard (which rises from the rear bumper); rear fender panel (fender skirts); outside sun visor (over the front windshield); white sidewall tires & wheel trim rings; and dual outside rearview mirrors. Also showing here are a few aftermarket items: chromed exhaust tip, Blue Dot taillights, and curb feelers. We came across this Styline DeLuxe a couple of summers ago in Orchard Park.
