RealRides of WNY - 1966 Oldsmobile F-85

This 1966 Oldsmobile F-85 hardtop looks like it’s wearing the same style Keystone rims as yesterday’s Buick Special RealRide. This time they’re mounted on a set of Dunlop Radial G/T Qualifier tires, which just may have been made at the plant about a mile or so from where we photographed this Holiday coupe a couple of winters ago in Tonawanda. The F-85 came standard with a 250CID six, but we can see that this one is wearing a front fender badge indicating that one of Olds’ three different 330CID V-8 engines is under the hood. The F-85, Olds’ entry-level mid-size model, was available as a two-door (pillared) club coupe, and a four-door sedan and station wagon, while the F-85 Deluxe added two- and four-door hardtops (a.k.a. Holidays) to the lineup as well as a four-door sedan.
