Back in the day, here’s some of the standard equipment offered on this 1960 Pontiac Catalina as described in the brochure: “…all chrome hardware…8:00 x 14 tubeless tires…one front and two rear ash trays…crank-operated ventipanes…instrument panel snack bar…” What??!! Instrument panel snack bar? Did it come stocked with those little liquor bottles and $5 Toblerone bars? And I like the fact that the kids in back has access to two ash trays while Mom & Dad had to share the front one, Lol. This red & white sedan, seen a few weeks ago in Tonawanda, is wearing the dealer sticker of Kapalko Pontiac, which was located in Fairchance, Pennsylvania. Speaking of ashtrays, while searching for this dealership on the internet, we came across the ashtray pictured below on one of the more obscure auction sites. Keen RealRides readers might have already noticed that this four-door sedan doesn’t seem to have any outside rear door handles. It’s also sporting an Ed "Big Daddy" Roth gas jockey Rat Fink decal next to the gas filler door.
