The brochure called the 1959 Cadillac Sixty-Two convertible “The new standard of the world in supremecy!” It also told us that it had “…a new windshield of epic proportions,” from which a driver could “…survey the world about him over a remarkable, low, broad expanse of hood and fenders.” No mention here about what he (or, one might imagine, she) might see looking out the back window between the twin-finned towers of taillights! Saw this red example, sans fender skirts, wheel covers, and (or so it would seem from its stance) engine a few weeks ago in Tonawanda.
