RealRides of WNY - 1966 Ford Mustang

It was last summer when we came across this Tahoe Turquoise 1966 Ford Mustang hardtop not far from the RealRides offices in Tonawanda. This one, sporting era-correct license plates, seems to be equipped with one of three optional 289 V-8 engines —  a 200-hp version was an extra $104.84; the 225-hp variety went for $157.31; while two different 271-hp packages were offered: $379.19 with the GT Equipment Group, or $430.39 as a stand-alone option. This one also has the “Typical Whitewall Tire Option” at $33.11. Pricing for the fuzzy dice seen here hanging from the rearview mirror couldn’t be found in any of Ford’s literature, Lol…
