Now that summer is in full swing, it seems as good a time as any to take a look at this 1990 Cadillac Seville, which I found in a Murdo, S.D. truck stop parking lot this past December, as my daughter Katie and I made our way back to Buffalo/Niagara from Seattle, Washington. As you can see by the tall shadows, it was a pretty early bright and sunny morning; what you can’t see, is that it was about 2° when I took the photo — almost a heat wave compared to the -7° we’d encountered the night before in Rapid City. This Seville is wearing a dealer sticker from Rapid Motor Pontiac Buick, whose location now houses Granite Buick GMC back there in Rapid City. Either it hadn’t been washed since Halloween, or it went through quite a bit of snow and slush to get here, Lol. Katie and I were lucky to encounter clear, dry roads almost the entire length of I-90, an almost four-day drive you can make without maps or a GPS, as it’s I-90 all the way, from Seattle right into Buffalo!
