RealRides of WNY - 1965 DeVille

Found myself at Bud’s Snowblower Service in North Tonawanda over the weekend, after my lawnmower died halfway through the back yard. And there, in the garage, was owner Gary Cameron, working on his 1965 Cadillac DeVille between lawnmower repairs (or maybe he’s working on lawnmowers in between DeVille repairs, Lol… hard to tell!). Gary’s had this original Florida convertible for almost 20 years now, and it’s only showing around 74k on the odometer. Cadillac called the 1965 DeVille series “A new dimension in motoring excellence.” This one’s equipped with Cadillac’s nifty “…new steering wheel that telescopes as well as tilts for personal comfort and for relaxing changes of position on long drives.” With a wheelbase of 129.5 inches and an overall length of 224 inches, it doesn’t hurt to have a snowblower/lawnmower repair shop handy for those days when you need to pull the car inside. Nice.
