Okay, so a Škoda Fabia, c2000, isn’t your average everyday RealRide. It’s certainly not that old, but depending on which part of the world you call home, it’s not an everyday sighting. When I came across this one a few weeks ago in Somerset, Bermuda, the first thing that caught my eye was the color. The RealRides photography staff (me) was hoping to find a treasure-trove of old rarely-seen (by me) cars driving around the island (and perhaps be able to write the whole trip off as a business expense, Lol), but alas, that wasn’t to be the case. I highly suspect that a devastating hurricane a few years ago did-in a lot of the old iron. And that’s a shame. These days Škodas are assembled mostly in their home country, the Czech Republic; in 2000 Škoda became part of the Volkswagen Group.
