Let me explain this 1958 Edsel Pacer convertible photograph. It was taken back in the late 1970s, as a slide. I came across it last year while going through the archives (also known as cleaning up some stuff that’d been lying around untouched for decades). Wanting to digitize these slides, I bought… ta-da! — a slide digitizer! Unfortunately, it totally reverses the color spectrum of the slides, and they have to be reconverted back to normal in a photo editing program (I use Photoshop). Needless to say, a cheap slide digitizer makes for lousy jpegs. So, I black-and-whited this one (Lol) and added a bit of red to the taillights and a dash of the original Ice Green to the Edsel’s coves. Where was this photo taken? I think it was at the Main-Transit firehall in Williamsville. But, your guess is likely as good as mine. If you were there, and know for sure where we were, please let me know! (below is the original color slide after scanning)
