And thought I had a hard time figuring out the color of yesterday’s RealRide! This 1947 Buick Special Sedanet was seen a couple of summers ago in June at a weekly Cruising on the Q cruise night on Queen Street in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Special was Buick’s price leader, and was also available as a four-door sedan. Besides its sleek looks, here’s one other reason Buick gave for buying the Sedanet: “Families with small children appreciate the feeling of security they enjoy in this two-door model. A full-width, full-depth rear seat provides room for youngsters where they are safe from any possibility of accidentally opening a door.” Below is the brochure illustration of a Special Sedanet with actual paint!
