It was ten years ago when we came across this 1970 Buick Skylark Custom in the parking lot of the Summit Park Mall in Wheatfield, sporting a couple of For Sale signs in the windows (the car, not the mall… oh, wait a minute, Lol). You can see the hand-scribbled particulars on one of the signs below. I’ve always wondered how those “or best offer” propositions work out. This was one of three convertible offerings for 1970 in Buick’s mid-sized lineup, the others being the GS 455 and GS 455 Stage I. A 2-bbl 350cid V8 was standard in the Skylark convertible, with two versions of a 4-bbl 350 optional.
