
Love seeing these blasts-from-the-past custom cars at modern day cruise nights and car shows. This 1952 Chevy Bel Air has been given a mild treatment — wide whites with red steelies, Moon discs, sunken radio antenna, and ’59 Caddy taillight lenses are a few of the changes that jump right out at you here. This was the fourth year for the post-war Chevy style cycle, and the buying public would welcome an all-new version a year later. (My parents bought a new ’53 Bel Air, in tan with a dark brown top.) We saw this one at the 2015 Buffalo History Museum Car Show in… you guessed it, Buffalo.
