Now here’s a two-tone combination you almost never see anymore — this 1963 Ford Falcon Futura is done up in Corinthian White with a Rangoon Red top (and dig the matching red interior!). According to the two-tone info in the comprehensive 1963 Ford Buyer’s Digest, “In general, the second color is white and it appears on the roof, while the lower portion of the car is painted with one of the darker colors shown at right [in the brochure]. For information on other color arrangements, see your Ford Dealer.” So perhaps this was a special order. Pretty sharp! Saw this car at the annual Niagara County Car Show on the county fairgrounds in Lockport back in 2012.
**Note: after re-reading the brochure, I realized that the 2-door hardtop was not available from the factory in any two-tone combination, so this must have been done afterwards.
