RealRides of WNY - 1967 Chrysler

We’re guessing this 1967 Chrysler Newport Custom shed its fender skirts for the installation of a new set of tires, judging from the blue goo which still coats the white stripes. Back in the day, Chrysler was still in the habit of giving each series distinctive grilles and taillights, a feature which would continue into MY 1968, with the 300 in addition getting hidden headlights. The Newport Custom was second from the bottom in the hierarchy, above the Newport, and below the 300 & New Yorker. Came across this one ten years ago (10!) in Irving. Wonder how those tires have held up…
