It was a car of song and of many a performance car fans’ dreams — and this version, a 1967 Pontiac GTO, was seen a few summers back at a car show in Wheatfield at the Frontier Fire Hall. This one is looking resplendent in its Regimental Red paint job and contrasting black vinyl interior. The rims look to be aftermarket, but don’t take away from the looks of the car at all. Pontiac sold 9,517 drop-tops for MY 1967, along with 7,029 pillared coupes and 65,176 two-door hardtops. This one is parked next to a ’65 hardtop, from the second year of the nameplate.
