RealRides of WNY - 1969 Catalina

Back in the day when I was a paperboy, one of my customers brought home a new 1969 Pontiac Catalina, which differed from today’s RealRide only in the fact that it was a perfectly-chosen-for-the-times shade of Verdoro Green. Oh, and it was a two-door hardtop. My first reaction was, “love those taillights!” Second reaction was “love that color!” Upon closer inspection I had a third reaction. “Those are the daintiest side-marker lights in existence!” And 51 years later, I’m still good on all three of those reactions. Came across this one a couple of weeks ago in North Tonawanda. (Inset photo, via YouTube, illustrates the taillight, Verdoro Green, and those itty-bitty side markers.)
