When the original owners of this 1973 Ford Mustang bought it, I wonder if they were aware there wouldn’t be another Mustang factory convertible produced for another ten years or so? In ’74 we all remember how Ford’s pony car downsized into the Pinto-based Mustang II. When that went away for MY 1979, the only body styles offered were the two-door coupe and a three-door hatchback. The hatch would be discontinued after MY 1993. Today’s RealRide was photographed by Gary Swiatowy (flickr.com/photos/swi66/) at last summer’s Kiwanis Car Show in Pembroke.
